Management
Team The management team of Sleep Management Centers
has 75 years combined experience in the medical field with
a primary emphasis in sleep medicine. In fact, two members
of this team began their careers working in the first sleep
testing facilities established in the United States. Each
individual is highly skilled in a number of areas that compliment
their approach to provide an exceptional level of patient
care in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.
A brief description of their experience is outlined below.

Andrea L. Clark,
MSW, RPSGT,
is the President of
Sleep Management Centers, LLC. Andrea has been in the field
of sleep medicine for over 28 years first as a technologist
in The Ohio State University Sleep Disorders Center and
then as an administrator over multiple departments in a
large hospital in the Texas Medical Center. After leaving
the hospital setting in 1999 she set up and managed two
free standing sleep laboratories in the Houston area. Andrea
has served on the Board of the Association of Polysomnographic
Technologists and several committees including as an examiner
and member of the Exam Development Committee of the BRPT
(Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists). She
has extensive experience in the design, implementation,
and operations of sleep centers, in a variety of settings.

Michael Clark, Vice President of Operations
With a background in engineering Michael has been in the medical field for over 35 years. He began his career as Director of the Neurology Electronics Laboratory in London, Canada. Later he founded Clark-Davis Medical and developed a market leading neurodiagnostic device for monitoring EMG and Evoked Potentials. During this time he was instrumental in establishing and teaching the biomedical engineering CO-OP program at Fanshawe College, London, Canada and also as Director of Engineering of an overseas consumer electronics company. He has been in sleep medicine for 20 years and directly involved with the development, marketing and sales of a number of industry leading sleep diagnostic products that include Sandman, Rembrandt and Medibyte sleep systems and Enterprise and Pursuit Outcomes sleep lab management programs. |

Tracy H. Zappa,
is the Vice President and Director
of Business Services at Sleep Management Centers,
LLC. Tracy has been employed in the medical field for the
past 16 years beginning her career in the Materials Management
Department with the Methodist Hospital in Houston TX. After
leaving the hospital setting in 1995 she began employment
with a local home health care company as the office and
billing manager. She has since worked for a durable medical
equipment company and a free-standing sleep laboratory in
Houston where she was responsible for billing and collections
of diagnostic and treatment procedures. Tracy is certified
in both medical insurance billing and coding. |

Dr. Sunil Lalla, MD, FCCP, PA: Associate Medical Director
Dr. Lalla completed his Internal Medicine residency and Pulmonary Medicine fellowship at Methodist Hospital in New York and later received his Critical Care fellowship at University of Pittsburg. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, and Critical Care Medicine and was also trained in sleep medicine at Winthrop Hospital, Long Island New York. Dr. Lalla has authored several publications in peer-reviewed medicine journals and participated as a sub investigator in local medical studies. He has been in private practice in Fort Myers since 1992. |
