Patients are evaluated
in private, “hotel-like” bedrooms designed for
maximum comfort in a controlled environment. Technologists
continuously monitor them from the center's control room
using the most advanced equipment available. This provides
a relaxing atmosphere and results in a technically superior
evaluation.
Within the facility, a parent company Apnea
Management Services (AMS) provides a number of treatment
options for patients diagnosed with sleep apnea, the most
common of all sleep disorders. This includes Continuous
Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) machines and Oral Appliances.
Each treatment option is available with a prescription from
our board certified sleep specialists.
Patient comfort, accurate diagnosis and effective treatment
are what both SMC and AMS strive to achieve. Nothing less
than this is acceptable and all staff members are dedicated
to this end. Each patient is electronically tracked from
a database that monitors all aspects of the diagnosis and
treatment of their sleep disorder ensuring nothing is overlooked
and the outcomes are positive.
